Plastics Group Museum |
|
Established in 1954 as Taiwan Plastic Company, Formosa
Plastic Group used to be a small company, producing 4 tons
of PVC Powder daily, and it continued to grow, establishing
Nan Ya Plastics Corporation, Formosa Chemicals & Fibre
Corporation and Formosa Petrochemical Corporation. For 50
years, it has become one of the biggest petrochemical groups
in the world, creating the turning point for the
petrochemical industry in Taiwan, leading the rapid growth
of plastic process industry, and completing vertical
integration of the petrochemical industry. To memorialize
its efforts and growth for the past 50 years and collect
related period pieces, it built the museum to let the public
realize the development of Formosa Plastics Group and
present the economic development of Taiwan. |

University. It takes 10 minutes to

Road) in the direction of Chung
Cheng Sports Complex; or take
